Romans 6:7 Week 13 Questions

FIRST DAY

Read Romans 6:1-7. Make sure that you remember to ask the Lord for wisdom. In Romans 6:7 you see the phrase, “for he who has died is freed from sin.” The believer is freed forever from having to be dominated by the power of sin. That truth is set in concrete, and you will study it much more fully in the next few weeks.

But we need to take a slight detour and ask ourselves if the believer has forever been freed from the penalty of sin. In other words, we need to know how many of the believer’s sins (acts of sin) were forgiven at the point of justification. We will take this week to research our answer, so get ready for an interesting journey.

1. Take today to ponder on verses that might assist you in studying the issue of forgiveness. Write down any comments below.
